Where the Journey Began

After completing their 10th standard education, the brothers entered professional life and began learning through hands-on work. During this period in Bhopal, both worked with Lazeez Hakeem®, becoming familiar with its food, hospitality environment and working culture.

At that stage, it was simply a part of their professional journey. They could not have known that years later, the same name would become connected with an important new chapter in their lives.

Learning Through Retail and Wholesale

Their journey moved into the footwear industry. Mustafa Ali and Husain Ali worked together at HAKEEM Footwear in retail and Saify Sales in wholesale, gaining practical exposure to customers, products, sales, purchasing and everyday business operations.

Experience Across New Markets

Their experience expanded through footwear wholesale and exposure to markets across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. This helped them understand changing customer requirements, local business environments and the value of relationships built through consistency and trust.

Husain Ali’s Return to Sagar

Before returning to Sagar as a businessman, Husain had earlier worked with his maternal uncle, Shakir Husain Sahab, in the medical business.

Husain Ali returned to Sagar and began working with his maternal uncle, Shakir Husain Sahab, in a partnership-based wholesale business. Shakir Husain Sahab became an important guiding presence in this phase and continues to remain associated with the brothers’ business journey.

Mustafa Ali Joins Him in Sagar

Mustafa Ali joined Husain Ali and worked alongside Husain and Shakir Husain Sahab to develop the wholesale business further. By this stage, the brothers had gained experience across employment, retail, wholesale and different markets.

Building Their Own Business Identity

The brothers established their own footwear retail businesses in Sagar. Their business journey today includes:

• Saify Enterprises — Wholesale, Gopalganj, Jhand Chowk, near Jain Mandir
• Saify Shoes — Retail, Gujarati Bazar, Katra, in front of Shiv Mandir
• Collection Shooz — Retail, Gujarati Bazar, Katra
• Saify Ladies Footplaza — Retail, in front of Jama Masjid, Katra Bazar

A Childhood Connection Comes Full Circle

In 2026, Mustafa Ali and Husain Ali were authorised to establish and operate a Lazeez Hakeem® outlet in Sagar. Located at Zudio Mall, Makroniya, Narsinghpur Road, Sagar, the restaurant was established through their own investment and efforts. The authorisation was granted without a financial transaction between Lazeez Hakeem® and the brothers, based on confidence in their journey, determination and ability to build responsibly.

For Lazeez Hakeem®, the Sagar outlet is part of a wider vision to take the brand beyond Bhopal and build its presence across more cities through capable and committed operating partners.
